Relocation & settlement
  • Advice on settlement

Our experienced attorneys advise you in a forward-looking manner on all issues relating to establishing your company in Switzerland and support you in dealing with the legal and practical challenges involved. Together with our external experts in all interdisciplinary areas such as corporate and tax consulting, accounting or social insurance, we ensure smooth coordination of all specialist areas. We also deal with all issues relating to the relocation of private individuals, in particular entrepreneurs and their families, to Switzerland.

  • Location and business premises

We support you in choosing the optimal business location and office premises for your company or provide you with domiciliary addresses if your company lacks business premises of its own. Together with our network partners, such as Business Development Lucerne and tax experts, we efficiently identify the solutions that are ideal for you.

  • Choosing the corporate form and name; forming the company

Our attorneys and notaries are a single point of contact for strategic and legal advice when choosing the optimal corporate form, formulating the company’s corporate objects, drafting articles of association specific to your company's needs and carrying out all corporate, trademark and unfair competition law assessments. Our notaries will form your Swiss joint-stock company (Ltd.) or limited liability company (LLC) in all of the cantons of Switzerland or arrange for the registration of a Swiss branch office. After successful market entry, we ensure comprehensive legal support for your newly formed company in all areas, and also assume corporate housekeeping.

  • Managing directors, corporate boards and statutory auditors

We support you in evaluating Swiss candidates for managing directors and board members as well as auditors for your company. If desired, we suggest experienced individuals from our network in this regard and make the appropriate contacts. We set great store in ensuring that the executive level of your business is characterised by competence and continuity.

  • Drafting of all of the necessary contracts

We will provide you with comprehensive advice when concluding all of the necessary contracts and will conduct contract negotiations for you in an outcome-driven and prudent way. In addition, we draft and review all of the necessary contracts and documents for you, such as employment agreements, licence agreements, general terms and conditions, cooperation agreements, etc.

  • Work authorisation for foreign employees

Our law firm supports you in successfully obtaining work authorisation for any employees from abroad, including, in particular, from third countries (non-EU/EFTA nationals). We will work with you to compile the necessary documents and draft the applications for work authorisation. On your behalf, we will assume responsibility for communicating with the immigration and labour market authorities and will represent you in the relevant authorisation procedures.

  • Comprehensive advice on relocation

Of course, we also support you, your family members and your employees in all questions concerning entry into the country and residence here, including tax planning, the purchase or rental of residential property, as well as inheritance and pension planning. Where appropriate, we coordinate with our network partners, for example with tax experts. Our notaries can prepare all of the public deeds that you may require in this regard.
