No automatic extension of board mandates

29.04.2024 | Have you planned when you and your company will hold the 2024 Annual General Meeting? Do you know whether your company will have to hold Board elections? If so, the Annual General Meeting must be held by 30 June at the latest: The Swiss Federal Supreme Court has already ruled at the end of 2021 that the mandate of a board of directors is not tacitly renewed without an election at a legally valid general meeting.
